AQ-150 uses an optical layout that comprises an infrared emitter and silicon detector. When particles enter the sensing area, an analog output, voltage, current gives a signal proportional to the particle concentration. It is possible to send the signal to a recorder or central processing panel. The users can mount AQ-150 on walls, inside air ducts or at strategic locations in dust control devices, like dust collector and bag house. The configuration of units can be done in a single or multipoint system.
